Biene Maja 09's Burkhardt Teubler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Dziuma in the 11th minute of play. Nils Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhao Fei Ling struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Andrei Cerbu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biene Maja 09. Andrei Cerbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Nils Hydén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrei Cerbu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Ullrich Böhlert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Biene Maja 09 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Hydén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
