Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Ek in the 9th minute of play. Hélio Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Nevada in the 10th minute of the match. Timoteo Columbo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paulino Tonio got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Timoteo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Şevket Çağa came free, but Hélio Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Timoteo Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Myhr made a great header on Academia 1903's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski managed to reach the ball for a save. Nicanor Morenø might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Glogowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Morenø ran back to his position shaking his head. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Morenø in the 88th minute of play. Hélio Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Emil Chwalkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Academia 1903's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
