Enrique Cassaretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sergio Livingstone made a huge save. 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when Clodoveo Cayo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Angelo Lordi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Forsyth. CD Municipal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Lordi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the ViCeNzA defense, Enrique Cassaretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Livingstone. The ViCeNzA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Livingstone should have stopped the shot. George Forsyth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Cayo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A nice corner shot did that Long Stora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this George Forsyth quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergio Livingstone. Enrique Cassaretto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Sergio Livingstone came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 36 minutes into the game, one of ViCeNzA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sergio Livingstone. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. ViCeNzA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enrique Cassaretto 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Cassaretto to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Sergio Livingstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 55th minute of play forced ViCeNzA's goalkeeper Sergio Livingstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CD Municipal's Oalo Dean was substituted for Zlatan Molina. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Cayo got free with George Forsyth in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on ViCeNzA's corner Long Stora fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and George Forsyth quite easily take care of the ball. In the 67th match minute, ViCeNzA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Primo to maneuver through the defense. ViCeNzA made a substitution. Robert Moreau replaced Matías Hernández. In the 69th match minute, ViCeNzA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Primo to maneuver through the defense. Martino Armona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Oalo Dean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Yunus Mahşer hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Long Stora got free with George Forsyth in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Livingstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryota Miyagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goal looked a bit too open when Oalo Dean came free, but Sergio Livingstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ryota Miyagi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Livingstone. ViCeNzA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryota Miyagi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Sergio Livingstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 85th minute of play. Clodoveo Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Oalo Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Livingstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryota Miyagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CD Municipal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
