The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Lauaxeta Lambaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Represa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Melchor Frisco. The supporters of POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol booed when lןןl La Coconeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Frisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Represa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Elia in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Erasto got free with Oswaldo Represa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19thth minute of the game Hector Elia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Oswaldo Represa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hector Elia charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Elia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Oswaldo Represa got control of the ball when Hector Elia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anibal Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Payon in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Severo Duro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Txerran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Solano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Erasto came free, but Oswaldo Represa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 37th minute of the match Melchor Frisco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Melchor Frisco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Melchor Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes lןןl La Coconeta got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Erasto. Lauaxeta Lambaria charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauaxeta Lambaria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lauaxeta Lambaria hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Oswaldo Represa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Mincho in the 90th minute of play. lןןl La Coconeta's Haroldo Erasto got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
