In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Trapiche's goalkeeper Santiago Meckel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Meckel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26 played minutes Trapiche got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Hanot. 30 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Mutu came free, but Santiago Meckel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brickeen Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Trapiche defense, Adrian Mutu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Meckel. The Trapiche fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Meckel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Dariusz Zembrzuski got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Adrian Mutu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Trapiche's Santiago Meckel. Santiago Meckel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Braga Junior FC's Brickeen Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmar Lõvi in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dinei Sergipano hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Adrian Mutu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braga Junior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Mutu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Meckel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trapiche's Desiderio Sabin got a free kick in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilmar Lõvi during the 86th minute.
