Lucas Ioritz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Cornelio Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Laurgain. Jonathan Bibiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Abella in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match, Luiz Fábio Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Bibiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lucas Abella's late challenge caught a Barrenta SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Abella helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Club Dep. Edgar Trigo had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Lorenzo Bakar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Bakar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgar Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Colas in the 31st minute of play. Edgar Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Abella in the 35th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Dep. Union Madereros defense, Luiz Fábio Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Bibiano. The Club Dep. Union Madereros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Bibiano should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Jonathan Bibiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sydney Carioca. Jonathan Bibiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Club Dep. Union Madereros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Jonathan Bibiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renan Diniz's late challenge caught a Club Dep. In the 72nd minute Barrenta SC were awarded a corner. Sydney Carioca went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Renan Diniz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Bibiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Barrenta SC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Club Dep. Union Madereros's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sydney Carioca took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sydney Carioca got away a dangerous shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Colas in the 95th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Edgar Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo José Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
