Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herbert Kruse started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Batista to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes, Hortêncio Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER FC and the Vestmanna FS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Eduardo Cardozo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER FC's Luiz Eduardo Cardozo. But to his dismay, Luiz Eduardo Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Cardozo in the 30th minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen having to make a save. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Eduardo Cardozo went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. If Luiz Eduardo Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Cardozo in the 47th minute of play forced Vestmanna FS's goalkeeper Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vestmanna FS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alex Rói Jacobsen hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Eduardo Cardozo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Vestmanna FS's goalkeeper Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Eduardo Cardozo. In the 55th minute INTER FC were awarded a corner. Emerson Cruz went to the cornerflag to take it. 57 minutes into the match, Vestmanna FS's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Cruz came free, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Færø hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Eduardo Cardozo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardinho Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INTER FC made a substitution. Mané Britto replaced Ricardinho Batista. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Osvaldo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Vestmanna FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Kruse to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Osvaldo da Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. Vestmanna FS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With his leg Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when INTER FC's Luiz Eduardo Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute Osvaldo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Vestmanna FS from getting a goal against them. Luís Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. With an all-out effort, INTER FC's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvaldo da Mata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 93rd minute, Durvalino Amaral fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen, passed just outside the right post. 98 minutes into the match, Vestmanna FS's goalkeeper Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Ferreira. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. INTER FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
