Bartolo Asteri was slow to take the kick. During this time Deuce Athletic Club's players had a chance to rest. When Ladislao Hitz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Deuce Athletic Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Hitz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Theodore in the 30th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Bartoli in the 33rd minute of the match. When Virgilio Gaizkine fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deuce Athletic Club's protests and gave Virgilio Gaizkine a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Deuce Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Gaizkine. DINAMO's Sandu Săndulescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deuce Athletic Club. With a little luck, Deuce Athletic Club's Enzo Telmo got control of the ball when Sandu Săndulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Enzo Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Săndulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Deuce Athletic Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristide Traianescu to make the kick off. Aristide Traianescus short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Ysmael Marfil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maxim Fința kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The long shot by Bartolo Asteri in the 54th minute really tested Ysmael Marfil's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Maxim Fința hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartolo Asteri was slow to take the kick. During this time Deuce Athletic Club's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aristide Traianescu sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ysmael Marfil. Ladislao Hitz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Enzo Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 69th minute of play. Deuce Athletic Club's Bartolo Asteri shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ysmael Marfil but with some difficulty. After 77 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Fința. Enzo Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Săndulescu in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Traianescu. Adrian Ciolacu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 90 in the game by Aristide Traianescu from a close distance when the talented Ysmael Marfil managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Deuce Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
