A collision led to Legion Roja FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gonzalo Xabier hit a great ball. Enrique Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Malvin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Saul Hartz's late challenge caught a GrondofiSu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Hartz helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Legion Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Hartz. Isidoro Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Cesar Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Berbiz in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Saul Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, GrondofiSu FC's Gerardo Florin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesar Malvin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Miguel Berbiz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin. Cesar Malvin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Legion Roja FC's Tobias Karmel got a free kick in the 37th minute. Cesar Malvin came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by GrondofiSu FC's Miguel Berbiz. But to his dismay, Miguel Berbiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Gerardo Florin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cesar Malvin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin got control of the ball when Antonio Raitin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gerardo Florin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GrondofiSu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Eustaquio Laurendi took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Malvin. Cesar Malvin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 58 minutes, Miguel Berbiz made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
