Clóvis Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Manga Fenomeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes Austra VFC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Garcia. If Papi Hamburger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Linares came free, but Manga Fenomeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clóvis Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Papi Hamburger in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, André Luiz Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futuros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Austra VFC the free kick. André Luiz Messias hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Baiano in the 15th minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper Manga Fenomeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Váldson da Silva could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Manga Fenomeno however easily saved by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Baiano came free, but Manga Fenomeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bater Cuca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Vítor Galvão in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clóvis Zonta saved Austra VFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Alagoano in the 32nd minute of play forced Futuros FC's goalkeeper Manga Fenomeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Papi Hamburger made a precise shot to the right of Clóvis Zonta. Austra VFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Alagoano made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bater Cuca to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bater Cuca in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Bater Cuca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clóvis Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Bater Cuca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute Álvaro Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Austra VFC's zone, Papi Hamburger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Zonta came out of the goal and Papi Hamburger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Futuros FC's Bater Cuca in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Austra VFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute, Bem Bom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bem Bom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Zonta having to interfere. Austra VFC made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bater Cuca in the 79th minute of play forced Austra VFC's goalkeeper Clóvis Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Reynaldo Negri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futuros FC's Manga Fenomeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clóvis Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Barbosa in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute Papi Hamburger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Papi Hamburger in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clóvis Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
