Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Riverplatense CARP's Leonardo Lucero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Osvaldo Paublo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's protests and gave Osvaldo Paublo a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Deportivo Luz y Fuerza got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Paublo. In the 5th match minute, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Lino Txindoki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Uriel Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Weather in the 9th minute of play forced Riverplatense CARP's goalkeeper Uriel Musko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Riverplatense CARP getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lino Txindoki hit a great ball. Uriel Musko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Belarmo in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Riverplatense CARP booed when Deportivo Luz y Fuerza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Abeitia's late challenge caught a Riverplatense CARP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Abeitia helped the player get up and apologised. Antonio Abeitia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Victorino Clis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverplatense CARP's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Clis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Txurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Basajaun struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Uriel Musko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Luz y Fuerza. Angelino Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Leonardo Lucero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santo Txurio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Santo Txurio managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Riverplatense CARP's Leonardo Lucero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Denis Edur charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Edur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Ciro Criston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Amadeo Horado's late challenge caught a Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Horado helped the player get up and apologised. Amadeo Horado hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Deportivo Luz y Fuerza got a corner. Riverplatense CARP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Abeitia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fausto Weather recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th match minute, Riverplatense CARP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Horado to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Osvaldo Paublo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Musko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Santo Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Txindoki in the 63rd minute of the match. When Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Fausto Weather in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riverplatense CARP's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute, Ildefonso Belarmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Musko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, Lino Txindoki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Txurio. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Txindoki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Santo Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riverplatense CARP's Uriel Musko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Weather in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Paublo got free with Uriel Musko in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Deportivo Luz y Fuerza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Riverplatense CARP throughout the match.
