The audience was convinced that Murillo Baiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Txurio was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Osvaldo Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Renato Sá notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Santo Txurio. After 33 minutes of play, AllRaf EC's Murillo Baiano made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Txurio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renato Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flávio Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Txurio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvaldo Paublo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wellington Fantini. That made the score 2-4 in the 42 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Jefferson Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Salles in the 51st minute of play forced Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Santo Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Cláudio Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AllRaf EC and the Deportivo Luz y Fuerza players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when AllRaf EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Wellington Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Olívio Cabral put in a rough tackle. In the 68th minute, one of AllRaf EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AllRaf EC. Wellington Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murillo Baiano got free with Santo Txurio in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murillo Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Txurio having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Renato Sá made a precise shot to the right of Santo Txurio. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. AllRaf EC made a substitution. Allan Velasco replaced Flávio Cardoso. Allan Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Txurio having to interfere. AllRaf EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
