Ximenes Barnechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Gaueko in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alianza Trujillo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rolando Michael was slow to take the kick. During this time Rossobianco's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Rossobianco's corner Ramon Emeterio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ximenes Barnechea quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute Rossobianco were awarded a corner. Rolando Michael went to the cornerflag to take it. Rossobianco's Rolando Michael was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ximenes Barnechea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Alianza Trujillo booed when Rossobianco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bakar Gopala Pillai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Barco in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rossobianco's Domingos Abalos got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gaufred Parraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Gopala Pillai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaufred Parraga ran back to his position shaking his head. Bakar Gopala Pillai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Barco, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Gaueko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Oliveiro Urbiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximenes Barnechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gaufred Parraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bakar Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alianza Trujillo's Markel Romay was substituted for Gaufred Parraga. Teo Acevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernán Barco's late challenge caught a Rossobianco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernán Barco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Teo Acevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ximenes Barnechea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cornelio Quilino kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Bakar Gopala Pillai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Barco, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Acevedo in the 94th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Ximenes Barnechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliveiro Urbiso charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ximenes Barnechea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Rossobianco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
