Nestor Abilio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Dos Soles F.C. got a corner. Imperio Académico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dominguez Artaza ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Xabel Doblas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Francisco Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabel Doblas in the 13th minute of play. Faustino Villahoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Imperio Académico's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Matuta came free, but Francisco Chabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Chabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Villahoz in the 18th minute of the match. Valentin Matuta struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Francisco Chabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dos Soles F.C.. Valentin Matuta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Chabier. Imperio Académico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hulk Hugan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Cugat in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Marco Eleazar could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Hulk Hugan however easily saved by the left post. Francisco Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Villahoz in the 44th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Imperio Académico got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Sugoi. 46 minutes into the match, Imperio Académico's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Villahoz came free, but Francisco Chabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Chabier came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Dos Soles F.C.'s Valentin Matuta. But to his dismay, Valentin Matuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Imperio Académico made a substitution. Alejandro Otsoa replaced Nestor Abilio. Faustino Villahoz took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Chabier. Francisco Chabier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 70 played minutes Dos Soles F.C. got a freekick which was hit by David Isla. Francisco Chabier was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Faustino Villahoz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Villahoz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Imperio Académico's Teodoro Orain was substituted for Cipriano Henry. Faustino Villahoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Chabier having to interfere. Francisco Chabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Villahoz in the 80th minute of the match. Francisco Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Villahoz in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dos Soles F.C.'s Faustino Villahoz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Chabier. That made the score 0-5 after 83 minutes of play. With 90 minutes on the clock, Dominguez Artaza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Dos Soles F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Imperio Académico:s goal. The referee gave Imperio Académico a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Apolo Elequemedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dos Soles F.C.'s Hulk Hugan. 1-5. After 96 played minutes Imperio Académico got a freekick which was hit by Hector Piarres. When the final whistle sounded Dos Soles F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Imperio Académico.
