After some careless play in the Alianza Trujillo defense, Rob Singer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ximenes Barnechea. The Alianza Trujillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ximenes Barnechea should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Singer got free with Ximenes Barnechea in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Barco came free, but Nelson Insfrán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Singer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Wally Urbina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Werner Uhl succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 13th playminute. After a rather tough play, Alianza Trujillo's Inacio Trevijano got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Wally Urbina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ximenes Barnechea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Urbina in the 22nd minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Ximenes Barnechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Uhl's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ximenes Barnechea firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wally Urbina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ximenes Barnechea came out and tried to block the shot, but Wally Urbina slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliveiro Urbiso during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oliveiro Urbiso kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Werner Uhl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ximenes Barnechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximenes Barnechea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wally Urbina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 48 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wally Urbina to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Garrett McCullough seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Garrett McCullough the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EL LOBO DE MIAMI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Garrett McCullough had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 53rd minute, one of EL LOBO DE MIAMI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EL LOBO DE MIAMI. Gaufred Parraga scored 5-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Insfrán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Werner Uhl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ximenes Barnechea was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th match minute, Alianza Trujillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Barco to maneuver through the defense. Ximenes Barnechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL LOBO DE MIAMI. Werner Uhl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenes Barnechea having to interfere. Alianza Trujillo's Ximenes Barnechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Uhl in the 78th minute of play. The corner led EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Virgil Caudill to fire away a dangerous shot which Ximenes Barnechea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alianza Trujillo's Ximenes Barnechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Uhl in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Oliveiro Urbiso. Ximenes Barnechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Uhl in the 92nd minute of the match. Markel Romay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Nelson Insfrán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markel Romay. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Ximenes Barnechea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alianza Trujillo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
