Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rogério Carneiro kicked off to start the match. Alfonso Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Guedes in the 3rd minute of play. After 7 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Ferrari. Matadores FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Santos Montel scored to the left of an out of position Kauã Sarmento, making the score, 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Matadores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Donato to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Montel came free, but Kauã Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Rio Cuarto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaston Gitano in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on Atlético Rio Cuarto's corner Gaston Gitano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kauã Sarmento quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th minute, Santos Montel made a precise shot to the right of Kauã Sarmento. Matadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the game, Matadores FC's Laércio Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Maurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Atlético Rio Cuarto getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marcelo Roldan hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Humberto Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Matadores FC defense, Santos Montel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kauã Sarmento. The Matadores FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kauã Sarmento should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goalkeeper Kauã Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Montel. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Montel to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Santos Montel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Donato. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matadores FC's goalkeeper Kauã Sarmento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Paulo Ferrari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Montel in the 65th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Santos Montel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Kauã Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kauã Sarmento came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Rio Cuarto's Santos Montel. But to his dismay, Santos Montel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Paulo Ferrari hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Davi Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alfonso Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Santos Montel notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento. Kauã Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Diegotxe during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Atlético Rio Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Diegotxe to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Rio Cuarto had won after a very even match.
