Reyes Barcenilla hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Wojciech Barycz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onyx's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugeniusz Bugajski in the 23rd minute. Beltza Rubin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rich Barth, a very annoying self made goal in the 23rd minute which led to 0-2. Piotr Zahemski scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rich Barth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filip Swoboda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlo Albiz in the 31st minute. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Onyx's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miro Olivos was slow to take the kick. During this time Caaguazu's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Miro Olivos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Onyx's Filip Swoboda did a great save. With his leg Filip Swoboda managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Caaguazu's Daniel Rojas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Arlo Albiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Rojas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Filip Swoboda made a huge save. Rich Barth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Zahemski in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Rojas made the kick off in the second half. Filip Swoboda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Malvin Vidaurre notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Onyx's Filip Swoboda. Filip Swoboda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caaguazu made a substitution. Errolan Cillero replaced Arlo Albiz. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Rich Barth as he didn't even see the shot coming. 71 minutes in the game Konrad Bubczyk did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kacper Karbowski. Tytus Wojton hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Errolan Cillero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Filip Swoboda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filip Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errolan Cillero, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Onyx's Ziemowit Makowski got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Lech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onyx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caaguazu the free kick. Zbyszko Lech hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Chants of Onyx echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Caaguazu had held the ball for most of the match.
