Luke Hollingsworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ueli Siegenthaler in the 8th minute of play. Luke Hollingsworth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Birrer in the 13th minute. Andy Vincent took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luke Hollingsworth. Luke Hollingsworth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If CJ Townsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Koch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Lloyd in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when The Handsome Wizards UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nial Thompson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Jefferson Lloyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Handsome Wizards UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Lloyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Frederico Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Handsome Wizards UTD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fire Devils the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, The Handsome Wizards UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Passos to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and CJ Townsley made a kick off. Nial Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Joaquin Koch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Len Hird during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jefferson Lloyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Hollingsworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikita Bolla in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Nial Thompson notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fire Devils's Joaquin Koch. Joaquin Koch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Townsley came free, but Joaquin Koch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
