Rodriguinho Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes, Hernan Scalarandi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapovihesa FC and the Estrela Solitária players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hernan Scalarandi hit a great ball. Silverio Modestio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Maravilha in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Norberg. In the 13th minute Niceto Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rodriguinho Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mapovihesa FC. Hernan Scalarandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Toninho das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Estrela Solitária's Toninho das Neves made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Modestio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Scalarandi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rodriguinho Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Modestio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho das Neves in the 30th minute of play. The referee gave Estrela Solitária a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Toninho das Neves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mapovihesa FC's Silverio Modestio. 0-2. Gabriel Fernandez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Silverio Modestio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Almeida went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Mapovihesa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estrela Solitária were winning 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Abascal in the 51st minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Toninho das Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Modestio was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Silverio Modestio stood somewhat misplaced when Túlio Maravilha came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 56 minute. Silverio Modestio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodriguinho Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Shepherd in the 90th minute of the match. Estrela Solitária's Rodriguinho Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Bembe in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estrela Solitária's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignacio Matteo was slow to take the kick. During this time Mapovihesa FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ignacio Matteo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodriguinho Brito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when Mapovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Pancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Estrela Solitária left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mapovihesa FC.
