The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizão Bocanegra was the one to do the kick off. Enio Moraes made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when João Adolfo Leite sent off a good shot on target. Antônio Carlos Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Wilson Cassia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Wilson Cassia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.A. Francana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
