The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Broom of the System DA13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Caracciolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Cayetano Pereyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Magliocco's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 53 minutes, Cayetano Pereyra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario Central and the Broom of the System DA13 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francesco Ali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Pereyra in the 82nd minute of the match. Alvaro Mastrangelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emanuele Fata came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Broom of the System DA13 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Fata couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Mastrangelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Montel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Mastrangelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cayetano Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Francesco Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Broom of the System DA13 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rosario Central's performance. The match ended with a win for Rosario Central.
