Ramiro Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes, Machine Gun Kelly's Evaristo Gaufred shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mårten Nordström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Machine Gun Kelly reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Galoer in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mårten Nordström saved Oakcroft Thrashers from getting behind. In the 20th minute Saturnino Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oakcroft Thrashers's Mårten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Quiroga in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ramiro Gagriel threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingemar Jonasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Robin Zander kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Galoer in the 32nd minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Mårten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Stig Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Saturnino Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oakcroft Thrashers's Jonathan Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, Machine Gun Kelly's Saturnino Quiroga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mårten Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Saturnino Quiroga made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Robin Zander in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Machine Gun Kelly's Saverio Procopio. Machine Gun Kelly's Saturnino Quiroga got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Oakcroft Thrashers's Mårten Nordström got control of the ball when Saturnino Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Saverio Procopio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Saturnino Quiroga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakcroft Thrashers's Mårten Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Alberg to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Gaufred was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute Saturnino Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jonathan Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Pettersson. After 97 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Gaufred. The Oakcroft Thrashers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Machine Gun Kelly's performance. The match ended with a win for Machine Gun Kelly.
