Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blaine Schaffer kicked off to start the match. AD Pontassolense's Marco Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Bateman in the 6th minute of play. Grigore Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Zambujal in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Theodore Cagle. 9 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Leitão came free, but Grigore Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes AD Pontassolense got a freekick which was hit by José Eanes. Grigore Proca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Zambujal in the 18th minute of the match. Grigore Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Zambujal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Leitão came free, but Grigore Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Bessa made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Norman Donnelly sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, AD Pontassolense's Marco Bessa got control of the ball when Norman Donnelly tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grigore Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Leitão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norman Donnelly in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Bessa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marco Bessa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Norman Donnelly showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herberto Meireles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AD Pontassolense booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanton Boyce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recolta Alamor made a substitution. Mohammed Sprague replaced Blaine Schaffer. Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when AD Pontassolense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veríssimo Gameiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Zambujal came free, but Grigore Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Bessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Recolta Alamor's Darren Stanley was substituted for Rudy Alvarado. Grigore Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herberto Meireles in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, AD Pontassolense's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Sprague came free, but Marco Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match Recolta Alamor got a corner. AD Pontassolense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano Cronshagen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Recolta Alamor's Theodore Cagle to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Bessa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marco Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammed Sprague in the 89th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, AD Pontassolense's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Donnelly came free, but Marco Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
