The supporters of Machine Gun Kelly booed when Newpi Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Quiroga in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Newpi Academy's Richard Textex got control of the ball when Clodoveo Galoer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Clodoveo Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machine Gun Kelly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Galoer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Neron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Saturnino Quiroga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Textex. That made the score 1-3 in the 45 minute of play.

After 59 minutes, Amador Christobal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machine Gun Kelly and the Newpi Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card.
