Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandro Goiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Curiphila Eagles's Horácio Montenegro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Naldo Costa came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Adelino Trevisan. But to his dismay, Adelino Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Goiano in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Costa saved Curiphila Eagles from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Paranaense in the 15th minute of play forced UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goalkeeper Carlos Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C defense, Flavinho Paranaense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Porto. The UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Porto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Goiano in the 22nd minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Naldo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho Paranaense went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Sandro Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Porto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Curiphila Eagles's Flavinho Paranaense. But to his dismay, Flavinho Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 36th minute, José Paulo Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilmar Coelho during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Nilmar Coelho got a free kick in the 39th minute. Carlos Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Paranaense in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Curiphila Eagles were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Trevisan in the 52nd minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Naldo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Carlos Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes of play, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Sandro Goiano made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho Paranaense went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Kléberson Zonta hit a great ball. Naldo Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Trevisan in the 77th minute of the match. Sandro Goiano took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naldo Costa. Naldo Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Curiphila Eagles's Patrick Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Bezerra. A hard shot by Nico Cunha from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Carlos Porto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
