Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jamie Mayfield got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Sandro Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Knott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4th play minutes Sandro Goiano shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Syd Knott and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 18th minute, Nilmar Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Metcalf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. If Jamie Mayfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Billy Metcalf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barr Point's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Metcalf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Syd Knott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Goiano in the 38th minute of play. Barr Point's Syd Knott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Barr Point from getting a goal against them. Syd Knott was a little too slow when Sandro Goiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. Sandro Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Syd Knott made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Nathanial Alsford got a free kick in the 51st minute. Adelino Trevisan scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Syd Knott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandro Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Syd Knott having to interfere. Carlos Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Panther, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sandro Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Syd Knott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Syd Knott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Goiano in the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamie Mayfield in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Porto saved UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C from getting behind. In the 89th minute Sandro Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Knott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Metcalf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Jamie Mayfield reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Porto. The goal made the score 3-1. The UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
