Baycan Ünsans short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Bernt Nässén to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 32nd match minute, The Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Landin to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Oğuz Uruk came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by The Reds's Andreas Alrot. But to his dismay, Andreas Alrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Per-Olof Vallman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Georg Christoffersson to make the kick off. Mehmet Oğuz Uruk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonny Emander in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Georg Christoffersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Oğuz Uruk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Pär Landin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Emander got free with Mehmet Oğuz Uruk in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
