Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Georgi Benishev made the kick off and thus started the match. With his leg Stormur Muren managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when SPARROWS's Vasko Mirkov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Sergey Karastoyanov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stormur Muren. Vasko Mirkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Stormur Muren made a huge save. Kind of Blue's Stormur Muren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Kind of Blue from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Kind of Blue's Stormur Muren got control of the ball when Georgi Benishev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lennart Pihlberg struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Biser Danailov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kind of Blue. 21 minutes into the match, Vasko Mirkov notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kind of Blue's Stormur Muren. Stormur Muren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Yanaki Dimanov. Samuel Asplund scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biser Danailov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Denislav Dushkin fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPARROWS's protests and gave Denislav Dushkin a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Åke Rosendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Rosendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Åke Rosendahl fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Åke Rosendahl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Vasko Mirkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stormur Muren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Per Tunberg. Yanislav Plachkov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Stormur Muren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åke Rosendahl to make the kick off. Biser Danailov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Asplund to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by SPARROWS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Asplund was slow to take the kick. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Asplund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Biser Danailov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Biser Danailov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Rosendahl in the 64th minute. Åke Rosendahl had several of the SPARROWS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Biser Danailov as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Kind of Blue's zone, Vasko Mirkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stormur Muren came out of the goal and Vasko Mirkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stormur Muren came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by SPARROWS's Georgi Benishev. But to his dismay, Georgi Benishev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasko Mirkov in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stormur Muren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanislav Plachkov in the 93rd minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Stormur Muren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Sergey Karastoyanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SPARROWS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
