In the 14th minute, Pankracy Jaks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaggelis Vaakanainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Indalecio in the 15th minute of play. FA Sandtown's Vaggelis Vaakanainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Indalecio in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Illés in the 20th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Vaggelis Vaakanainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wawrzyniec Limanowski in the 22nd minute. If László Illés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, László Illés made a precise shot to the right of Vaggelis Vaakanainen. FA Sandtown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Pimenta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janusz Koczara. A collision led to FA Sandtown getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Wieslaw Fafinski hit a great ball. After the first half Baraja Española FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Tanio was the one to do the kick off. Silvinho Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Limanowski in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Czempa. Janusz Koczara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobromir Wawrukiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Vaakanainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Tanio in the 62nd minute of play. When Wieslaw Fafinski fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FA Sandtown's protests and gave Wieslaw Fafinski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Wieslaw Fafinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcin Czempa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvinho Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's German Mino got a free kick in the 85th minute. The Baraja Española FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Baraja Española FC's Benigno Indalecio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vaggelis Vaakanainen made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Benigno Indalecio sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Vaggelis Vaakanainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by László Illés. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Baraja Española FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
