The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Paulista during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antoni Dropinski went to the cornerflag to take it. Ulryk Bartelak charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulryk Bartelak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Miastostumostuf™ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ulryk Bartelak hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Antoni Dropinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miastostumostuf™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoni Dropinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ulryk Bartelak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Dropinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Róbson Netto having to make a save. Róbson Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoni Dropinski in the 40th minute. Zé Paulo Freire's late challenge caught a Miastostumostuf™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Freire helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Miastostumostuf™ booed when Atlético Mineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulryk Bartelak was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Miastostumostuf™'s Ulryk Bartelak got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Antoni Dropinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Róbson Netto. Atlético Mineiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoni Dropinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

The wind increased when Antoni Dropinski made the kick off in the second half. If Valério Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 54 played minutes Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Freire. In the 57th minute, Pawel Kissel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valério Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Ludwiczak having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Antoni Dropinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Róbson Netto was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Antoni Dropinski put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Róbson Netto. Ziemowit Ludwiczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Favoretto in the 74th minute of play. Valério Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Ludwiczak having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vânderson Lucas during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arkadiusz Niedbalski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Valério Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ziemowit Ludwiczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Paulista got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 93rd minute, Antoni Dropinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Isaltino Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Mineiro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Miastostumostuf™.
