Rey Benagassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Zunbeltz Inchaurdi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Inter de Guayaquil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zunbeltz Inchaurdi couldn't finish the play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ergin Ceviz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zunbeltz Inchaurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergin Ceviz having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Manuel Nobal made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Darıca Gençlerbirliği's Ergin Ceviz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Inter de Guayaquil FC fully deserved thier win.
