Everardo Ezkerra started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Konurbano Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Tanio to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes Felizberto EC got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Salgado. Marcus Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Ezkerra in the 6th minute of play. Zeledon Ponce hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Felizberto EC booed when Konurbano Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Alcântara came free, but Teodoro Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Zeledon Ponce hit a great ball. Everardo Ezkerras short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Marcus Sampaio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, André Luiz Alcântara notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Konurbano Atletico's Teodoro Reyes. Teodoro Reyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovidio Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovânio de Azevedo's late challenge caught a Konurbano Atletico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovânio de Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Felizberto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Everardo Ezkerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Sampaio was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The referee showed Zeledon Ponce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Konurbano Atletico's Zeledon Ponce got a free kick in the 88th minute. Marcus Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Ezkerra in the 91st minute of play. When Konurbano Atletico's Everardo Ezkerra in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
