The AYYILDIZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience cheered loudly when Gökalp Behram's long shot in the 54th minute became 0-8 when the ball went to the left of and passed Denílson Catarinense. Haldun Birtan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yıldırım Yaman in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Catarinense saved Karavela from getting behind. A collision led to Karavela getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sílvio Luís Barral hit a great ball. AYYILDIZ's Gökalp Behram shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Denílson Catarinense but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Enrique Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karavela's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haldun Birtan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded AYYILDIZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karavela.
