An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Garaona in the 17th minute of play forced Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Golo Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Petrigai in the 22nd minute of the match. Denílson Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jesus Garaona sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, Dolar Blue Ψ's Sergio Palben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Denílson Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jesus Garaona sent off a good shot on target. After 30 minutes, Tomás Idacio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dolar Blue Ψ and the Karavela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomás Idacio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Dino Saldanha hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Golo Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Denílson Catarinense made a huge save. The supporters of Dolar Blue Ψ booed when Karavela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denílson Catarinense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomás Idacio. Sergio Palben in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Denílson Catarinense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golo Dolar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute, Aquiles Petrigai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denílson Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Karavela's Denílson Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Petrigai in the 84th minute of play. The Dolar Blue Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Denílson Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Lusa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Aquiles Petrigai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolar Blue Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Petrigai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Dolar in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Catarinense saved Karavela from getting behind. Aquiles Petrigai scored 8-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denílson Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 98 minutes of play, Dolar Blue Ψ's Golo Dolar made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denílson Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Dolar Blue Ψ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
