Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Arne Stål started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Örsundsbro's Sven-Arne Stål nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Åke Björling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Daniel Glad kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Motala's Åke Björling got control of the ball when Sven-Arne Stål tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Arne Stål scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Björling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Åke Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Hansson in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Reine Wallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Motala booed when Örsundsbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Heggert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Sixten Odman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Ersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Skoog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Hansson in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jack Eklund to make the kick off. Åke Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Odman in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Örsundsbro got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Heggert. Karl Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th match minute, Örsundsbro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Hansson to maneuver through the defense. Motala's Anton Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Motala's Åke Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Odman in the 81st minute of play. Reine Wallander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Ersman having to make a save.
