Teobaldo Gaizkine scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Garoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, PARA QUE TE TRAJE's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Gaizkine came free, but Cayetano Garoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Genaro Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Garoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Pedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Virgilio Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Gaizkine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Cayetano Garoa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Marcello got free with Cayetano Garoa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute of the match, Teobaldo Gaizkine tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cayetano Garoa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cayetano Garoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Gaizkine in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, PARA QUE TE TRAJE's goalkeeper Cayetano Garoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Marcello. In the 38th minute Teobaldo Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Garoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Macias hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Gaizkine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Cayetano Garoa made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Eriz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PARA QUE TE TRAJE booed when Atlético Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Pedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Virgilio Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cayetano Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Marcello in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to PARA QUE TE TRAJE getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Amadeo Ralondo hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Amadeo Ralondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PARA QUE TE TRAJE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Patoruzu the free kick. In the 70th minute, Amadeo Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PARA QUE TE TRAJE's Cayetano Garoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Gaizkine in the 76th minute of play. Maximiliano Hulberto kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes, Atlético Patoruzu's Teobaldo Gaizkine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cayetano Garoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Patoruzu reached it. In the 84th minute, Marcelo Marcello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Garoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dirk McMillian during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Marcello in the 95th minute of play forced PARA QUE TE TRAJE's goalkeeper Cayetano Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
