Borys Brytan started the match with the kick off. Wincent Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfirio Patry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witomir Zapolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wally Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Florence Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Ruperto Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wally Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Grodzka booed when Hurricanes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glen Dickson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Pete Mobley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Grzegorz Czerny shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wally Delgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Porfirio Patry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurricanes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Porfirio Patry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Borys Brytan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wally Delgado 15 minutes into the match. FC Grodzka's Wincent Drab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfirio Patry in the 20th minute of play. Wincent Drab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles McKinney, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Wally Delgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witomir Zapolski. A hard shot 30 in the game by Borys Brytan from a close distance when the talented Wally Delgado managed to make a qualified save. Hurricanes FC's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witomir Zapolski in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wally Delgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Witomir Zapolski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Grodzka's supporters rose to their feet, but Witomir Zapolski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wally Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wally Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Brytan in the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Porfirio Patry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurricanes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Porfirio Patry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincent Drab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Antoni Czempa had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Glen Dickson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Porfirio Patry to strike the kick off in the second half. Borys Brytan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wally Delgado having to make a save. Witomir Zapolski kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Dickson in the 61st minute of play forced FC Grodzka's goalkeeper Wincent Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Drab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentine Harrington in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Brytan in the 64th minute of play forced Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Wally Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Witomir Zapolski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Grodzka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurricanes FC the free kick. Witomir Zapolski hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonia Merrill in the 67th minute of play forced FC Grodzka's goalkeeper Wincent Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porfirio Patry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Wincent Drab made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Olaf Tyski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Porfirio Patry charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Porfirio Patry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 minutes, Borys Brytan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hurricanes FC's Wally Delgado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 85 minutes, Glen Dickson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurricanes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glen Dickson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Grodzka had won after a very even match.
