Agustin Messi hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Julian Ignado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrilete Cósmico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tango en Miami FC the free kick. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Erubiel Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walker Elliot in the 38th minute of play. Walker Elliot made a great header on Tango en Miami FC's corner, it was just that Barrilete Cósmico FC's Erubiel Mitxaut managed to reach the ball for a save. Walker Elliot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erubiel Mitxaut came out and tried to block the shot, but Walker Elliot slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. Apolo Perico was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Graham Kearney was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tango en Miami FC's Jacob Person got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Generoso Txartiko came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Barrilete Cósmico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Txartiko couldn't finish the play. Generoso Txartiko came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Graig Davenport could save by the left post. After 60 minutes, Walker Elliot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tango en Miami FC and the Barrilete Cósmico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Graig Davenport didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrilete Cósmico FC. Tango en Miami FC's Graig Davenport proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Tango en Miami FC from getting a goal against them. Generoso Txartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graham Kearney in the 73rd minute of the match. Graham Kearney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Erubiel Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Graham Kearney made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Mitxaut. Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 95th match minute, Tango en Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice O'Neal to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrilete Cósmico FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tango en Miami FC.
