Eskil Åkesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zachary Majczyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Eskil Åkesson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. Wit Rzeszutek's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Fenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wit Rzeszutek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gunners ARS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Wit Rzeszutek hit a great ball. Gunners ARS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eskil Åkesson 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Beltrán Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Majczyk having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eskil Åkesson to make the kick off. Anders Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Rzeszutek, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Zachary Majczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Åkesson in the 61st minute of play. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atletico Fenix fully deserved thier win.
