Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giovani Pirani kicked off to start the match. Amerigo Michelini charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amerigo Michelini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, Sporting Club Sicilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Michelini to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Edmondo Proia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC Korban getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Igor Albuquerque hit a great ball. Hernani da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Giusti in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Sporting Club Sicilia were awarded a corner. Alessandro Del Papa went to the cornerflag to take it. Hernani da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Giusti in the 13th minute of the match. Doni Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernani da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe De Tommasi in the 18th minute of the match. When AC Korban's Giovani Pirani in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Club Sicilia's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC Korban's zone, Flavio Calcio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani da Rocha came out of the goal and Flavio Calcio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Souza hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Giusti came free, but Hernani da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani Pirani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Emiliano Galdi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Flavio Calcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmondo Proia in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernani da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pedro Luiz Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Korban's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Luiz Paraense hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41st play minutes Flavio Calcio shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Hernani da Rocha and just under the crossbar into goal. When AC Korban's Giovani Pirani in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmondo Proia to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Giusti got free with Hernani da Rocha in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Flavio Calcio could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Hernani da Rocha however easily saved by the left post. Hernani da Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beppe De Tommasi in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Fonseca in the 60th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Emiliano Galdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Ettore Giusti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hernani da Rocha. Ettore Giusti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Alessandro Del Papa got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute, Giovani Pirani made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Galdi. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 79th minute, Doni Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When AC Korban's Giovani Pirani in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Sporting Club Sicilia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
