Daniel Ingelbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ. After 18 minutes of play, KV Schoonwater's Diedrik Morreels made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Halis Çağar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diedrik Morreels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Franky Musseeuw dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mehmet Halis Çağar, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bülent Zati to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ's Arda Baybars Trabzonlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Ingelbert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by KV Schoonwater's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barışcan Taşdemir was slow to take the kick. During this time Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ's Barışcan Taşdemir to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Ingelbert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Gijselinx came free, but Mehmet Halis Çağar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Gijselinx took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Halis Çağar. Mehmet Halis Çağar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Musseeuw in the 65th minute of play forced Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ's goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Çağar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Halis Çağar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Gijselinx in the 66th minute of the match. Mehmet Halis Çağar came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Schoonwater's Diedrik Morreels. But to his dismay, Diedrik Morreels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. But to his dismay, Franky Musseeuw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jurgen Mallaerts during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute Franky Musseeuw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Halis Çağar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Van den Berch. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Thibau Camps replaced Elias Geraerts. KV Schoonwater's Mei Guang Yue was substituted for Birger Axelsson. In the 94th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Van den Berch to maneuver through the defense. Yasin Şahbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Daniel Ingelbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KV Schoonwater had played much better football throughout.
