Jarl Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Negris in the 19th minute of play. After 26 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Kefaloukos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 34th minute of play forced Guldsmedshyttan IK's goalkeeper Jarl Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Glad charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Glad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guldsmedshyttan IK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gilbert Glad hit a great ball. Jarl Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofilos Kaplanopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th match minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Ek to maneuver through the defense. Marc Vallin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jarl Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Negris in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Guldsmedshyttan IK booed when ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koulis Kourdos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theofilos Kaplanopoulos in the 94th minute of play. Thodoris Negris came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jarl Andreasson could save by the left post. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
