In the 18th minute Wincenty Mocko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Lasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Reklinek SSA got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Radzyminski. Klement Bara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Bannister in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marko Cosio hit a great ball. Ted Lasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Klawki in the 25th minute of play.
