Alfonso Baldassarre came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Pechofrío's Roger Bannister. But to his dismay, Roger Bannister quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, UNLIMITED's Amedeo Castrucci got a free kick in the 21st minute. Arturo Di Vito's late challenge caught a Internacional Pechofrío's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Di Vito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UNLIMITED's Arturo Di Vito got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Alessio Cardillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Baldassarre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Micah True took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Baldassarre. Alfonso Baldassarre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Manoel Esparza hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, UNLIMITED's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Bannister came free, but Alfonso Baldassarre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Internacional Pechofrío booed when UNLIMITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Cardillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Roger Bannister put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Alfonso Baldassarre. The UNLIMITED players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Internacional Pechofrío were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciccio Carciofo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Internacional Pechofrío's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Bannister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Baldassarre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah True in the 53rd minute of play. Carlo Carta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Lasso having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Bannister got free with Alfonso Baldassarre in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute Micah True shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Baldassarre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Baldassarre came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Pechofrío's Micah True. But to his dismay, Micah True quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Roger Bannister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Alfonso Baldassarre made a huge save. Alfonso Baldassarre didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. In the 79th minute Roger Bannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Baldassarre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Micah True shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Baldassarre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Internacional Pechofrío could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UNLIMITED throughout the match.
