Cruz Logroño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Gipuzkoa having to make a save. In the 16th minute, Augusto Perma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ildefonso Cesaro fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Matorrales's protests and gave Ildefonso Cesaro a yellow card for diving instead. Ildefonso Cesaro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eléctricos F.C.'s Emilio Lariz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Igor Gipuzkoa but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Mateos in the 25th minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Igor Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Matorrales's Igor Gipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Matorrales from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes, Maximino Jatsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Matorrales and the Eléctricos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Atlético Matorrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. Samaniego Paza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Igor Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Samaniego Paza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Gipuzkoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Igor Gipuzkoa came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eléctricos F.C.'s Zernin Pellicer. But to his dismay, Zernin Pellicer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. Camilo Mateos took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Gipuzkoa. Igor Gipuzkoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eléctricos F.C. had played much better football throughout.
