Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christiaan Been was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christiaan Been showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Vismantas Baliutis came free, but Christiaan Been reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Rochet made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Cees Klein sent off a good shot on target. NFC Eagles 22's Cees Klein got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiaan Been showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vismantas Baliutis in the 45th minute of the match.

In the 51st minute, Bruno Meijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Hexo Utd's Kristupas Vaičiūnas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. NFC Eagles 22's Christiaan Been proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. Ron Moermans was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. Christiaan Been was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes, Vaidotas Indriulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hexo Utd and the NFC Eagles 22 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Vaidotas Indriulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's Esteve Domenech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Rochet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Hexo Utd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NFC Eagles 22.
