An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Onofrei in the 5th minute of play forced Paraná Clube Brasil's goalkeeper Dwight Mcvicar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Iosif Mihele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dwight Mcvicar. Paraná Clube Brasil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iosif Mihele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Robert Onofrei got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cristóvão Bastos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Paraná Clube Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Albert Vaştag broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 42nd minute, Iosif Mihele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dwight Mcvicar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 45th minute Iosif Mihele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwight Mcvicar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Paraná Clube Brasil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Florin Griguță scored to the left of an out of position Dwight Mcvicar, making the score, 0-3. Dwight Mcvicar stood somewhat misplaced when Robert Onofrei came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 56 minute. Paraná Clube Brasil's Dwight Mcvicar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Paraná Clube Brasil from getting a goal against them. Ninjas in Pyjamas made a substitution. Juninho Junior replaced Traian Bădilescu. Alberto Rossi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Florin Griguță took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Dwight Mcvicar to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Robert Onofrei sped through Paraná Clube Brasil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dwight Mcvicar. Dwight Mcvicar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iosif Mihele showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 85 minute of play. Dwight Mcvicar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Onofrei in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Onofrei came free, but Dwight Mcvicar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ninjas in Pyjamas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paraná Clube Brasil.
