In the 13th minute Amauri Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Senatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Tohias had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Navarro Finden from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Bari F.C.'s Navarro Finden in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 31 played minutes, Clube Atlético Luziense's Amauri Soeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bianco Senatore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Atlético Luziense reached it. Ian Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Navarro Finden got free with Artemio Tohias in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Ceresso during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute Arturo Pompilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Arruda made a kick off. If Arturo Pompilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navarro Finden took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Tohias. Artemio Tohias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Clube Atlético Luziense made a substitution. Durval Meireles replaced Diogo Arruda. Clube Atlético Luziense's Albertinho Berger was substituted for Armandinho Guimarães. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Bari F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saip Toygar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube Atlético Luziense's Amauri Soeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. Bianco Senatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bianco Senatore made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Durval Meireles sent off a good shot on target. Navarro Finden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Tohias having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Arrigo Zarillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Bianco Senatore made a huge save. Artemio Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Finden, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Durval Meireles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bianco Senatore. That made the score 3-3 in the 89 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Meireles got free with Bianco Senatore in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Vicente Recife took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Bianco Senatore to make any attempt to save it.
