An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Schuhmacher in the 4th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Pedrão Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Vista Alegre FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Amânaloae took the corner. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Eric Amânaloae was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedrão Sarmento in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento got control of the ball when Pablo Piatti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes, Cauan Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vista Alegre FC and the PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cauan Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Oséas Moraes got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 25th minute, Norberto de Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vista Alegre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicodim Epure during the 29th minute. Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Vista Alegre FC from getting a goal against them. After 47 minutes of play, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Pablo Piatti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrão Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goalkeeper Cristian Minteuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauan Marinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Piatti in the 56th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Pedrão Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Leo Schuhmacher made a precise shot to the right of Pedrão Sarmento. Vista Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Norberto de Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cristian Minteuan made a huge save. Eusebiu Pantelimon charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 70th minute Cauan Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Minteuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Minteuan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oséas Moraes. Régis Barros's late challenge caught a PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Pantelimon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Christian Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vista Alegre FC's protests and gave Christian Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Piatti in the 92nd minute of the match.
