Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diamantino Tande took the kick off in the first half of the match. Petru Plopeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Emílio Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Buciumii! 10 minutes into the match, Diamantino Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelian Ştiubei. FC Buciumii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diamantino Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Emílio Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petru Plopeanu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Buciumii from getting a goal against them. In the 33rdth minute of the game Diamantino Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diamantino Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Aurelian Ştiubei made a huge save. Aurelian Ştiubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Diamantino Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Ştiubei was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Aurelian Ştiubei was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Diamantino Tande capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diamantino Tande really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Giubelean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Petru Plopeanu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. POPULAR F.C's Emílio Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save POPULAR F.C from getting a goal against them. Emílio Messias made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Firoiu sent off a good shot on target. Diamantino Tande struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Aurelian Ştiubei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POPULAR F.C. In the 63rd minute, Humberto Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes, Duarte Camargo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POPULAR F.C and the FC Buciumii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelian Ştiubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Tande in the 72nd minute of the match. Aurelian Ştiubei came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by POPULAR F.C's Diamantino Tande. But to his dismay, Diamantino Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of FC Buciumii:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of POPULAR F.C:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for POPULAR F.C. Diogo Passos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelian Ştiubei. 6-1. FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Camargo in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Tande in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Ştiubei saved FC Buciumii from getting behind. POPULAR F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
